Print requirements

Sheet printing (business cards, invitations, postcards, etc.).

All layouts are checked manually before being put into operation. The typography does not guarantee the detection of all errors.

The printing house reserves the right to correct the layout and correct errors without the consent of the Customer.

In the event of a marriage due to non-compliance with the requirements for the layout, the responsibility lies with the party that provided the incorrect layout.

Files are accepted in Adobe Illustrator (ai), pdf, eps format. Corel Draw (cdr) files are not accepted.

There is no need to duplicate the same layout in different formats.

All layouts of one project must be placed in one document.

The layout should be in real size (scale 1:1). The unit of measurement is millimeter.

Recommended minimum line thickness:
— letterpress — 0.15 mm
— silkscreen printing — 0.2 mm
— foil stamping — 0.2 mm
— embossing — 1 mm (in this case, the difference between the thinnest element and the thickest element during embossing should be no more than 0.3 mm)

We recommend checking the thickness of the glyph @.

The recommended diameter of a free-standing dot is 0.25 mm. We recommend that you carefully check the punctuation marks.

Printing smaller items is possible. The printing house does not guarantee the quality of such elements.

All outlines need to be expanded.

Document color space is CMYK. We work mainly with uncoated papers. The colors in the layout must be specified according to the Pantone Solid Uncoated palette. If the colors are specified in CMYK, the color selection will be carried out by the manager when preparing the project for launch. Color selection will be subjective.

Black objects must be CMYK: 0 0 0 100, the color must be non-composite. Otherwise, the objects will be rasterised. Moiré patterns may appear in digital printing.

All fonts must be converted to curves. Layouts with fonts that are not converted to curves are not accepted.

The font size is not important, the main thing is that the thickness of the lines meets the requirements.

Raster images

Raster images must be embedded in the file. For digital printing of full-color images, the optimal resolution is 300 dpi. The printing house is not responsible for the quality of raster images provided by the Customer.

Letterpress or screen printing from raster images is possible (the effect of newspaper printing of photographs). For letterpress printing, the recommended lineature is 40-120 lpi, for screen printing is 40-80 lpi. For printing, you must provide a raster image and indicate the lineature in the cover letter separately.

All effects in the layout (transparency, blur, gradients, etc.) will be rasterized. Effects are only suitable for full color printing.

Crops marks do not need to be set.

If the object is placed close to the edge or on the bleeds, it must be moved out of the artboard borders by 2-3 mm. All other elements must be trimmed. If the object is not displayed outside the artboard, but is close, the Printing House reserves the right to display it by moving points or scaling the object without agreement with the Customer.

Important graphic elements should be located at least 3-5 mm from the edge.
